Chapter 21 Questions

1) Reflecting on verse 1 – 20, what do you learn about walking with God in faith and obedience?

2) Why do you think some promises take time to fulfil?

3) Looking at verse 11, how do you think Abraham felt about Ishmael?

4) How did God show mercy on Ishmael even though he was a rebellious son?

Chapter 22 Questions

1) What do you learn about Abraham from verses 3-10?

2) Looking at verse 7 – 9, what does this teach us about Isaac?

3) In what way did Abraham plant faith in Isaac?

4) Why do you think we are tested?
