1) In verses 8-10, Judah makes almost the same suggestion as Reuben in the previous chapter, why did Jacob listen to Judah instead of Reuben?
2) In verses 13-14, Jacob finally allows Benjamin to follow them, what had he come to realise?
3) In verse 34, Joseph shows more favour to Benjamin, do you think he was trying to get a reaction from his brothers?
4) Reflecting on both chapter 42 and 43, how do you think Joseph felt with the encounters he had with his brothers? Do you think there was a sense of justification, seeing his dreams come to pass when his brothers bow down before him?
