The Fruit Of The Spirit – Patience – Galatians 5:16-26

We are continuing our series on each segment of the Fruit of the Spirit, today’s lesson will be on patience:

1) Looking at the definition of patience, what is the underlying reason for your impatience?

2) Why does God want us to be patient? (2 Peter 3:8-9 and Hebrews 6:11-12)

3) Reflect on those in the bible that were patient, what can we learn from them? (1 Samuel 16:11-13, 2 Samuel 5:3-4, Genesis 37:2-8, Genesis 41:42-46, Genesis 42:3-9 and Joshua 6:1-20)

4) Is our patience judged by our ability to wait, or what we do while we wait? Read 1 Samuel 10:8 and 1 Samuel 13:8-14

5) Why does God make us wait?
